Introduction of Surah Yusuf
Surah Yusuf is the 12th of the Quran and contains 111 verses. It speaks of the tale of the Prophet Yusuf, or Joseph, who was sold by his brothers as an enslaved person and then had to endure many hardships. Yet in all of that discomfort, Yusuf never distrusted Allah. He was rewarded for his patience and abstinence, obtaining the higher status of being the leader in Egypt. This Surah talks about patience, loyalty toward Allah, and forgiving one another. That is such a nice story, full of hope and faith, showing how God’s plan unravels step by step.
