Introduction of Surah At-Talaq
At-Talaq is the 65th chapter of the Quran. It contains a total number of verses numbered 12, which guide on matters related to divorce regulations of Islam. Surah describes before people the right ways to carry out divorce, the waiting periods, and other post-divorce procedures such as maintenance for women. It stresses justice and mercy as overregulations in handling the issue, especially regarding children and maintenance. The surah reminds them to follow His rules at all times and trust Him at all times. It motivates the believers in this way that God will provide for the righteous believers and the virtuous ones.
