Introduction of Surah An-Noor
Surah An-Noor is the Quran’s 24th chapter, consisting of 64 verses. The Arabic word “An-Noor” means “The Light; ” therefore, purity presents itself in terms of activity and thought. It elaborates on social rules and teachings about modesty, life in the family, and the respect that lies between men and women. Of course, this surah teaches its audience to be truthful and warns against falsely accusing someone.
One of the surah’s wealthiest parts is the “Verse of Light.” In it, God controls all guidance based on light on earth. The surah calls for believers to become just and purified and to live better lives based on God’s orders for peace on earth.
