Introduction of Surah Lail
Surah Al-Lail is the 92nd chapter in the Quran and consists of 21 verses. The Surah speaks of two ways people pursue life: one in goodness and righteousness and the other in evil and selfishness. The Surah begins with an oath that mentions night and day as symbols of the two paths leading to their specific outcomes. The Surah then emphasizes easing the path for those who spend in charity and are in awe of Allah and creating hardship for those who hoard and deny the truth. It teaches us that our actions determine our end, so we should stride on the path of righteousness.
