Introduction of Surah Jumuah
Surah Al-Jumu’ah is the 62nd surah in the Quran and comprises 11 verses. “Al-Jumu’ah” refers to Friday, when Muslims observe the weekly jum’ah prayer. This surah heightens on Friday prayer and energizes believers to leave everything on the call and attend it. This surah also deals with the blessings of guidance through the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and how so many communities before, like that of the Jews, were given scriptures but went astray mostly. It reminds Muslims to act upon their knowledge and gives them the critical note that for any worship, especially on Fridays, Muslims should leave all worldly affairs aside.
