Introduction to Surah Ibrahim
The 14th chapter of the Holy Quran is titled Surah Ibrahim. This surah is named after the Prophet Ibrahim, or as he is called in English, Abraham. It speaks of the steadfast faith and the tireless efforts put forth by Prophet Ibrahim in spreading the message of monotheism. It speaks of gratitude and patience, part of Allah’s plans for which no one needs to grieve. Many prayers and supplications by Ibrahim have been mentioned, showing deep love. It imparts through its verses essential lessons to be trustworthy in faith and the rewards for following the guidance of Allah.
