Introduction of Surah Humazah
The 104th chapter of the Quran, Surah Al-Humazah, is located in the 30th Juz, the last chapter of the Quran. There are nine brief verses in all. This surah forbids backbiting, slander, and the vain collection of wealth. It highlights that there would be dire repercussions in the Hereafter for those who make fun of other people and are driven by avarice. Surah Al-Humazah is a reminder to respect other people and put more emphasis on good acts than worldly wealth.
