Introduction of Surah Ghafir
The 40th chapter of the Holy Quran, known as Surah Ghafir, has 85 verses. The literal translation of “Ghafir” is “The Forgiver.” This surah revolves around Allah’s power and forgiveness, guiding and protecting His followers. It narrates that those who disown the message of God will face hellfire, so they should believe it. Indeed, it describes the story of the Prophet Musa and Pharaoh; hence, great faith and obedience to God are underlined. It moves people toward seeking forgiveness from God and trusting in His wisdom.
