Introduction to the Surah Al-A’raf
It is the seventh chapter with 206 verses, and its title is derived from a place called “Heights” that is explicitly mentioned within the Surah. It deals proactively with the issues of divine guidance, stories of former prophets, and the consequences of rejecting the message of Allah. Reminding the history of Prophet Noah, Prophet Hud, Prophet Salih, and other prophets and their experiences teaches faith, obedience, and the hazards of arrogance and disbelief. It invites reflection on the signs of Allah and the importance of submission to His guidance.
