Read Azan(Adhan) & Dua after Azan
Introduction
Azan, alternately spelled as Adhan, is the Islamic call to prayer. It signals Muslims that their five specific prayer times have started. The call is usually announced from a mosque by a person called the muezzin or using loudspeakers.
The Azan reminds Muslims of their prayer times and invites them to come together to pray. It is part of the Muslim way of life, keeping one connected to one’s faith all day.
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
Translation: When the time of the prayer is present, one of you calls the Adhan, and the eldest of you leads the prayer.
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
Translation: When you are with your sheep or out in a desert, then call the Adhan for the prayer, raising your voice with the call, for none hears the voice of the muezzin – neither jinn, human, nor anything – except that it will testify to that on the Day of Judgement.
